FISCAL IMPACT REPORT ON CITIZEN GENEROSITY

I'm a freelancer. Which means even your generosity is subject to fiscal extraction. Here's what actually happens when you give me €10. Spoiler: the State is the primary beneficiary.

VERDICT

Out of your €10, the State takes €2.51 in contributions and taxes. Stripe takes €0.40. I'm left with €7.09. In France, even generosity is taxable. The State produced nothing, created nothing, added nothing — but it takes its share. As always.

WHY THESE DEDUCTIONS?

As a freelancer, I'm under the simplified regime: 22% social contributions on revenue (not profit — on revenue, even if I have expenses). Plus 4.2% income tax via flat-rate withholding. Total: 26.2% of every euro collected goes straight to the State, before I can spend a single cent.

DESPITE ALL THIS, SUPPORT THE PROJECT
